The season of fresh New Year’s resolutions is upon us.

Most are still holding strong to the promise of cleaning up their act, eating “right”, and finally “getting in shape”.

But, for many, the cravings are starting to build up…

And the thought of NEVER again enjoying the bliss of a sweet treat is waning their resolve.

For some reason, there’s a wide-spread assumption that in order to “eat right” and be “healthy” you have to give up all manner of desserts and treats.

But, as you’re about to see…

Rock Those Tastebuds & Crank Up the Heat

There are plenty of ways to eliminate the unhealthy carbs and sugars and replace them with healthier alternatives.

…that will still rock your tastebuds and satisfy the sweet-tooth.

In fact, by including certain healthy fats, some desserts –like the one below– can ramp up your fat-burning-furnace and actually HELP you achieve your weight-loss goals this year.

Although conventional wisdom has assumed that dietary fat causes weight gain and other health problems, many recent studies have shown quite the opposite.

…even proving that eating fat can actually provide the benefits of both satiating hunger and reducing body fat.

Recipe for Success

According to the findings of a recent study at the University of California at Irvine, fatty foods work in the body to curb hunger by triggering a substance called oleoylethanolamide, which sends a message to the brain that the body is no longer hungry.

So, if you’re experiencing those awful cravings for sugar and refined carbohydrates that come when first starting a new healthy diet,  adding healthy fats to the diet are a great way to keep these cravings under control.

Here’s a perfect example of these healthy fats in action, combined in a delicious recipe that’s sure to hit the spot.

You can get the ingredients listed from most grocery stores, but if your local grocery store doesn’t have the organic product available, no worries.  Just be sure that you get a product that is labeled “no added sugar” or  “unsweetened”.

Also, you can substitute the almonds for other nuts such as brazil nuts, cashews, hazelnuts, macadamias, or walnuts, if you prefer.

Directions:

1. In a medium sized saucepan, warm coconut/almond milk over medium-low heat, and add broken chocolate pieces. Stir with a wooden spoon, melting them completely. This should make a chocolate cream.

2. Add vanilla extract, almond butter, and stevia.

3. Stir until velvety and smooth.

4. Add nuts.

5. Next, transfer the fudge into a baking dish lined with wax paper, and cool in your fridge overnight, or until it hardens to a “fudge like” consistency.

6. After cooling, cut fudge into ~12 small squares and enjoy!

That’s it…pretty simple right?

Can you imagine if you could do the same thing with pizza…chicken wings…and all your favorites?

I want to share an amazing story with you about my friend Greg –who did just that.

He actually managed to drop over 70 pounds and a whopping 10 inches from his waist using a WEIRD 90 second trick…

How did he do it?

He used a secret weight loss technique that Dr. Phil has hailed as, “The most important innovation in weight loss in decades.”

I’d argue it’s the probably the most important EVER in history!
