The REAL Cause of Reflux…and How to FIX It!

Sometimes referred to as Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), acid-reflux, or more commonly “heart-burn”…

The hallmark burning sensation caused by this disease, behind the breastbone, can be so severe it is sometimes mistaken for a heart-attack.

And while most chronic sufferers ultimately accept it as an inevitable and relatively harmless part of life…

Studies are beginning to emerge tying the cause of acid reflux to a deadly, cancer-causing bacteria.

As is typical, rather than intelligently address the root of the disorder…

Conventional medicine promotes a DANGEROUS course of treatment that does nothing but further aggravate the problem and prolong the suffering of the patient.

…as well as the continued dependency on the highly profitable medications being prescribed (indefinitely).

Not anymore.

Watch the video below as Dr. Mercola share’s his ever-enlightening insight into the REAL causes of acid reflux…

And reveals the answer to restoring natural gastric balance and promoting the highest levels of gastrointestinal –and OVERALL— health.

When first diving into the subject matter, what blew me away was learning that all that painful stomach acid bubbling up into my throat had NOTHING to do with having too much of it…but possibly too LITTLE.

How about you?

What struck you as the strangest cause and or remedy for acid reflux that Dr. Mercola mentioned?

I’m curious to hear, so let’s discuss in the comments below…

    PS
They mostly treat symptons not the causal effect.

I have had reflux for years. This video was very interesting. I have a personal opinion of Doctors "They're like weathermen, it's all a SWAG-a scientific WAG-a wild arse guess. They treat only for money and pay no attention to your sympton's following prescriptions. Back to the video.

Wow! When I saw this email about GERD, I thought, I need to hear this. What shocked me most about the amount of acid in your body was that it was too little acid in your body, wow, who knew!? I had gerd about 10 years ago and yes, it did feel like I was having a heart attack. One night I woke up clutching my chest from the pain I felt. I didn't know what to do, so I made an appointment with my Dr. She didn't prescribe me any medication because I am against it, however, she did tell me that I needed to lose about 20lb and to stop eating the foods that were causing it as well as exercising more than I was already. I said OK, I'll do this. She also sent me to a nutritionist to help me with my eating. I also joined wrought watchers at my job. This was an extra boat to my recovery. After doing all of this, changing my diet and bad eating habits I am now GERD free. I workout now at least 4 days a week, I do martial arts, I don't eat meat (fish only), fresh organic fruits and vegetables, beans, nuts, seeds, I drink a protein shake twice a day and I see a transformational coach on a regular basis who helps me sick to my health goals as well as my personal and professional goals, and I feel great!
    That's my story :-).
